God's purposes will always prevail! Born with a cleft lip and palette, Duane White's parents were told he could never speak without impediment. However, God had a purpose. Through faith and patience, Duane developed his speaking ability and followed after his boyhood heroes-preachers of the Gospel! Duane's grandfather, (a 60-year veteran of ministry) who pioneered many churches, was a special inspiration to him. With his special insight into the value of speech, Duane dedicated his mouth and voice to God. He preached his first sermon at 13 and hasn't stopped since! He knows his mouth was given to him to fulfill his destiny!

After graduation from high school, Duane spent a few lucrative years as a horse-trader and auctioneer. In early 1987, however, he 'sold out' of the horse business and pursued his call by attending Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. While attending CFNI he was involved in pioneering, Family Christian Center, in Azle, Texas, where he served full-time as a part of the leadership team for over eleven years. In this time he built a dynamic youth and children's ministry, led worship, conducted camps, crusades and leadership seminars, as well as led numerous short-term missions trips around the world.

In his last few years on staff at FCC, the 'international' side of Duane's ministry exploded! Traveling to 18 nations and over 100,000 miles a year, it became evident that Duane and his wife, Kris, must give themselves fully to their call to the body of Christ-worldwide. In February 2000, the White's launched Beyond These Shores, a mission’s network that 'connects ordinary people (churches and individuals) to their extra-ordinary destiny!' Their vision is to equip, encourage, and resource the local church worldwide through pastor's seminars, revivals, crusades, and short-term missions trips (emphasizing strategic evangelism).

Duane now travels full-time as an itinerant missionary. He uses his dynamic preaching style, with a strong emphasis on the prophetic, to release destiny in the nations of the earth. Duane's message is sure to challenge you to get a vision for something 'bigger than yourself', to go forth and change your world and to discover the purposes that God has for your life! His very life testifies that no obstacle is large enough to stand in the way of your destiny!
