WORSHIP ACADEMY...Building People
Worship Academy Romania
Romanian Academy 2 was launched in October 2008 in the new Mission School in Agigea, Constanta, Romania. Students from accross the region - some from as far as Brasov - have signed up for the two years and are eagerly expectant for all that God wants to do.

The students enjoyed making new friends and bonded together very quickly...

From the very first session there was a real sense of God moving mightily among us, joining us in praise, prayer and purpose, along with a great sense of love, fun and family as we set our hearts towards Him.

Testimony from Romanian Academy 2
"Recently I attended the first weekend of the Worship Academy 2 in Romania. I was expecting to have a great time but what God had in store for me was much more than I could have imagined or hoped for. The worship times were wonderful, the teaching was excellent and we were encouraged to allow God to speak to us and challenged to allow Him to speak to us in a new and true way."
"The atmosphere was full of expectation and the times together with the other students were real 'family' times. All I can say is that God was taking me out of my comfort zone in a big way and has started a work in my heart that is very deep and I know that He will bring it through to completeness. He has continued that work already and I am waiting with great excitement to the next weekend in December!"

Dear friends,
It is with great joy that we write these lines to encourage you about Worship Academy. Through this vision led by Chris Bowater and Andy Bromley the hearts and lives of many nations are being touched at this time.
Over the last few years we have witnessed God’s transforming power, through this great training initiative in the lives of many people. Romania is one of these nations…
Romania as a country has been devastated by the communist regime for many years and is on the road to healing and restoration. Worship Academy seeks to rebuild and mentor people through a life journey process which desires to restore value and self worth, promoting praise and worship as a lifestyle. The Academy has been active in Romania since November 2006.
At the October weekend in 2007 it was a joy to hear the students testify to all that God had done in their lives, and how Worship Academy had such a big influence in this. One student spoke of how his perceptions of worship had been totally challenged since attending the Academy. He had such an encounter with God on the first weekend that he realised that worship was not about himself, his gift, or how ‘strong’ he could be, but it was about ‘God first, others second, and himself last’. He has learned not to be a dictator but to be open and relational, receiving fresh revelation from God, for his Church and ministry.Worship Academy for him is clearly a place for rebuilding!
Over the last year we have received generous financial donations to facilitate the first year of the Romanian vision. The programme consists of eight weekends over a two year period which requires a subsidy of £2500 for each weekend. This is necessary to make the course financially accessible in respect of the current economic climate in the country. (Bearing in mind the average salary in Romania is £175 a month, however the cost of living is similar to the UK).
It is our desire to continue to invest into the vision. We are at a point in the journey where we need more partners. We are inviting churches to invest a gift of £250 to bless the vision and see a continuation of the work started in this nation. We would ask you to prayerfully consider standing with us at this time. Your contribution will be invaluable to the ongoing work of Worship Academy Romania.
Please feel free to contact us through this website if you would like to consider partnering in the vision for Worship Academy in Romania - we would love to hear from you!
